(Pegasus - Lee's Quarters)

Dee: Hoshi's working on updating our map coordinates for the search for Earth. Civilian captains want to meet with you. Questions, problems. Talk to me Lee.
Lee: I'm having trouble accepting this.
Dee: I know, but we have to push forward. Keep the fleet together, find Earth.
Lee: Right, that's our duty.
Dee: There's still a chance they'll come back. Your father has pulled off more than a few miracles in his day.
Lee: I know that. And I haven't given up hope.
Dee: Yes you have. I saw the look on your face when you came back from Galactica. Like you were never going to see him again.
Lee: Am I that easy to read?
Dee: Just to me.
Lee: He's taking on too much for one half strength Battlestar to handle. And that's not opinion, that's military fact. He's not coming back from this, none of them are.
Dee: All we can do is make plans for the future. We have to survive. We have to find Earth. If we don't, there will be no one to remember a man named William Adama. Or a Battlestar named Galactica. That is our charge to keep.
Lee: To keep Humanity going, no matter what the cost. No matter - no matter who we leave behind.
Dee: You can do this. You can get us there. You're a Commander of this fleet, and you will guide us to safety. And you will do it no matter the cost. Because you're an Adama.
Lee: I ever tell you how proud I am to serve with you?
Dee: Not in so many words, no.
Lee: Well I am proud to serve with you Lieutenant, and to call you my wife.
(they kiss)
Lee: Now, lets talk about map coordinates, meeting with ship's captains.

(Caprica City - Resistance HQ)

Anders: I lost three men today, and if that marine sergeant wasn't on her game they'd have killed us all.
Tigh: I know godsdammit, I know. You don't have to keep running your mouth about it, I get it alright?
Anders: Do you get this? If Sharon had been killed not only would we not get the launch keys, but the Cylons would know that we were in direct contact with Galactica. Now this whole plan, the fate of this whole city would have fallen apart, do you understand that Colonel?
Tigh: I get it.
Anders: Okay. Hey, you know what has to be done here. And you don't wanna do it I understand. But believe me Colonel someone is gonna do this. Now it would be better for her sake if it was you.

(Caprica City - Resistance HQ)

Ellen: I had to do it Saul, I had to. It was all for you. And I want you to know that I would have done anything to save you.
Tigh: I know, I know, it's alright. Everything's going to be alright.
Ellen: No, you don't understand. I got you out of detention Saul, it was me, I got you out. I went to see them, the Cylons, I finally got to the one in charge. And I got him to notice me the way men notice me. I slept with him, I felt like puking every time he put his filthy hands on me. But I smiled and I faked it to save you Saul. And you listen to me - I'd do it again. Frak anybody, do anything. Even give him the map. I didn't want anybody to be killed.
(She hugs him)
Tigh: It's alright.
Ellen: I could use a drink.
(She drinks the tainted drink)
Ellen: You've always been there for me when I need you. Oh, I'm exhausted. I feel like I could just curl up here.
(She hugs Tigh)
Ellen: I should have listened to you, Saul. Should have stayed on Galactica.
Tigh: Oh, don't worry about any of that now. You just, you just go to sleep.
Ellen: I'm sleepy.
(The cup falls out of her hands. She is dead. Tigh embraces her and cries)
Tigh: I love you, you hear me!
(Tigh lays her down, lays his head on her body and cries)

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

Baltar: I believe I've told you and I've told you. But to what end? Too secure in your smug superiority to listen. Too comfortable in your predictions of success to even consider the possibility of defeat. And where are we now? More to the point, where's Laura Roslin? Where's Tom Zarek? At large. Whereabouts unknown - free at any rate. Probably with Colonel Tigh. Solidifying the insurgency's hold over the public's imagination.
D'Anna: What would you have us do Gaius?
Baltar: Leave. Pack up your centurions, and go. Please. Go.
D'Anna: And then what? What would you do if we really just left you here? You'd live our your lives in peace and never trouble yourself with thoughts of us again? Or would you raise your children with stories of the Cylon. The mechanical slaves who once did your bidding only to turn against you. Killers who committed genocide against your race. The occupiers of this city until we just ran away. Would you tell them to tell the story to their children? And to their children's children? And nurse a dream of vengeance down through the years so that one day they could just go out into the stars and hunt the Cylon once more.
Baltar: Blood for blood. It has to stop one day.
Gaeta: Oh my gods!
(They notice the explosions & chaos beginning to happen outside)

(Caprica City - Streets)

Tory: Nice job Anders. (looking at her watch): Come on, come on. (siren sounds) Okay, that's our cue. You know what to do. Rally your people and the to get to the evac points. Okay, remember the drills and you'll do fine. Go with the Gods, go, go, go!
Maya: Tory, what'd you tell Laura I can't thank her enough.
Tory: Tell her yourself when this is all over. Wish we were all as calm as she is. Get them to their ship, go, go!
Protectors: Yes ma'am!

(Caprica City - Pyramid Court)

(Men are getting the hidden weapons)

Anders: Let's move, let's move, let's move! Alright this is it, we get to the detention center and we do not stop until everybody is out of there free. Everybody knows the entry points, let's load up and we move, right now! Let's move Connor, let's go, let's go, let's go!

(Galactica - CIC)

(hiding in nebula)

Kelly: Decoy squadron, approaching the launch point.

(Space)

Kat: Okay, this is it guys, stand by. All Vipers break now, now, now!
Racetrack: Deploy drones on my mark. Three, two, one, mark!

(Galactica - CIC)

Kelly: Drone signatures match, Cylons should pick up the drones on DRADIS and recognize two Battlestars any minute.

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

(Cylons are on the phones)

Baltar: Not for nothing. Not for nothing.
CapSix: We'll start over Gaius, and you'll see that you'll rise out of the ashes.
Baltar: It'll be buried, buried like the cities fog. Consumed by the wrath of God.
Boomer: Two Battlestars just jumped into orbit. Adama's back.

(Space)

Racetrack: Kat, Racetrack. Two base ships on DRADIS baring zero-zero-two carom zero-one-five. They're launching Raiders.
Kat: Red squadron, Kat, we've done our part. Kick in the turbo, lets get the hell outta here!

(Caprica City - Kara and Leoben's)

Kara: What's going on?
Leoben: Insurgents. I'll be back.
Kara: You can't just leave us trapped in here.
Leoben: It's safest for you here.
(They wrestle, and Leoben punches Kara in the face and leaves)

(Caprica City - Streets)

(Men yelling, sirens blazing, chaos all around)

Connor: Let's go let's go!

Roslin: Tom, you got that way, head to the ship yard.
Zarek: You're comin right?
Roslin: My ship's up there. (Motions towards Colonial One)
Zarek: You sure have a sense of the dramatic. Hey wait, Laura, wait, wait, wait. (To Jammer): Hey you, you're on Galactica right?
Jammer: Yeah, I didn't do anything.
Zarek: No it's ok, it's ok, keep your eye on her, alright? Don't let her outta your sight. Go! (To Roslin): See ya up there.
Roslin: See ya up there.

(Galactica - CIC)

Kelly: Jump preparation complete. My board is green. Ready to jump sir.
Helo: Stand by to launch blue squadron.
Adama (on wireless): This is the Admiral. All hands, brace for turbulence.

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

D'Anna: Base ships just closed on the Battlestar targets. There's no Galactica, no Pegasus. Drones, decoys! The whole things a trick.
Simon (to Baltar): Where's Galactica?

(Caprica City - Outside of shipyard)

(The yard is gated in as Tyrol and Tigh attempt to get to their ships. They are trapped. They look up in the sky and see the Galactica enter the atmosphere in free fall.)

(Galactica - CIC)

Kelly: Altitude ninety nine thousand falling like a rock.
Helo: Launch, launch them all.
Adama: Stand by FTL.

(Galactica - Launch Tubes)

LSO: You're cleared for launch
Hotdog: We'll, this ought to be different.

(Galactica - CIC)

Kelly: You're clear!
Adama: Stand by. Jump!

(Caprica City - Outside of shipyard)

Galen: Vipers! Everybody hold, hold!

(Air)

Redwing: Hotdog, Redwing, I see friendlies pinned down outside the shipyard gate.
Hotdog: Roger, Redwing target the guard tower, I've got the gate. Going in hot.

(Caprica City - Outside of shipyard)

Galen: Incoming!

Galen: Let's go, let's go, go, go!
Tigh: Let's move!
Galen: Move, move! Comon, move, move!
Tigh: Let's go!
Galen: Move, move!

(Caprica City - Detention Center)

(Marines planting explosives)

Marine1: Fire in the hole!
Marine2: Fire in the hole!

(Doors blow open, people stream out)
Mathias: Everybody let's move! To the shipyard, move, move!
(Anders finds Kara)

Anders: Kara, oh Gods!

(He kisses her)

Anders: I'm going to get you outta here, I'm going to get you outta here.

(Galactica - CIC)

Helo: All divisions make damage report to combat. Main batteries report weapons status.
Adama: DRADIS.
Kelly: Back online. Cylon base ships, coming out of the nebula.
Helo: Just as we expected.
Kelly: Cylon Raiders are still scattered to hell and gone. They're coming after us without fire cover.
Helo: If we can draw the two basestars away from the planet, the Colonists might be able to escape.
Kelly: Hang on. Two more base ships just jumped into orbit. We got four base ships out their Admiral.
Adama: No, we can't hold off four.

(Space Battle)

(Galactica - CIC)

Adama: Pass up the cord! Connect the other side right away!
Kelly: We've lost maneuvering thrusters.
Helo: We can't take any more hits to port or we're looking at explosive decompressions sections thirty-six through forty-eight.
Adama: Jump drive!?
(Helo shakes his head no.)
Adama: Then that's it. It's been an honor.

(Space - The Galactica is taking a beating by three Cylon Basestars. Suddenly, the Pegasus shows up, and opens fire on the basestars, destroying one immediately.)

(Pegasus - CIC)

Lee: Galactica, Pegasus. Let us take some of this work off your hands. Get your FTL up and ready and we'll take care of the rest. (To Crew): Alright, fire off that main battery

(Galactica - CIC)

Adama: Damn you Lee! Keep working on those FTL's get um online!
Kelly: Yes sir!
Adama: Cylons will redeploy as soon as they recover. Thank you, Lee.

(Pegasus - CIC)

Dee: They're coming about. Maneuvering to brack at us.
Lee: Steady as she goes. Take us right into the center.
Dee: Won't last long in there.
Lee: No.

(Caprica City - Detention Center)

Kara: Put me down, put me down. Wait, wait, stop, stop! Put me down, put me down, put me down.
Anders: Kara, Kara shh!
Kara: Is it really you?
Anders: Yeah, baby it's really me. But listen we don't have time, we're going to the ships and we're going to get the hell off this fraking planet.
Kara: Okay, where's Kacey?
Anders: Who's Kacey?
Kara: Kacey, she's my daughter.
Anders: Kara, who's Kacey?
Kara: She's my daughter.
Anders: Kara! No, Kara no, godsdammit Kara no, don't do it Kara no!

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

Doral: We've lost control of the situation on the surface.
Simon: There's a heavy raider standing by ready to evacuate us.
D'Anna: We're agreed. Evacuate the entire facility. I'll stay behind to set off the nuke. (To CapSix): You should go as well, Caprica. (To Baltar): And you, I don't think you'll want to be here after we're gone. There's a place for you too.
Baltar: For me?
D'Anna: Well, you were right and we were wrong. There should be some reward for that.
CapSix: Gaius, we should go.
Baltar: I just want to stay here and die.
Gaeta: You're gonna get your wish, Gaius.

(Caprica City - Shipyard)

(Ships are taking off and jumping to safety)

(Galactica - CIC)

Kelly: Ships are getting off the ground. Jumping away. Only a few left now.
Helo: FTL's back online. Pegasus is taking a hell of a pounding sir. I don't think she has a single plane in the air.
Adama: Lee left all of his planes to guard the civilian ships. He knew this was a one way trip. He'll be back before the end.
Helo: Are you sure?
Adama: Land our birds! Let's get the hell outta here.
Helo (Wireless): All wings, Galactica, come on home. Combat landings authorized. Repeat, come on home.
Adama (Wireless): All hands, all hands, get ready to jump!

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

Gaeta: I believed in you.
CapSix: Whoa, whoa, Gaeta.
Gaeta: I believed in the dream of New Caprica.
CapSix: Gaeta, we all did!
Gaeta: No, No! Not him. He believed in the dream of Gaius Baltar. The good life. Booze, pills, hot and cold running interns. He led us to the apocalypse. And, and I, I turned out to be..
Baltar: An idealist. There's no sin in that. Everything you say about me is true. Every word. But you have to listen to me. The Cylons have a nuke in this complex. Nobody, and I mean nobody is getting off this planet alive unless I stop D'Anna.
CapSix: And she'll kill you.
Baltar: And she'll kill me. Or it can be done by Mr. Gaeta. By the way, the Human race dies with me. Go ahead shoot, what are you waiting for. Please. Please. I'm begging you, please.
Gaeta: You have one chance to put things right. Do you understand me? Get the frak outta here. Stop that nuke. Go!
CapSix: Gaius, let's go!

(Pegasus - CIC)

Lee: Set main batteries to auto fire, cycle b. Lock engines ahead flank. (Wireless): This is the Commander, abandon ship, abandon ship, all hands abandon ship, report to evac raptor to jump to rendezvous point. Good work, and I'll see you on the other side.
Dee: Alright people let's move, out! Let's go! You too Commander.
Lee: Yes sir. (To Pegasus): Thank you.

(Several raptors launch from the Pegasus and jump away. The Pegasus continues on a course for the middle of the Cylon basestar. It rams directly into it, destroying the basestar and the Pegasus. The flight pod slams into another basestar, destroying it.)

(Caprica City - Leoben and Kara's)

Kara: Kacey! Kacey? Kacey honey where are you? Ka-
Leoben: I knew you'd be back. I saw it.
Kara: Give me Kacey.
Leoben: Say the words.
Kara: Let me take her.
Leoben: Say them.
Kara: What words.
Leoben: You know what I want. I want to hear you say them, and I want the rest of it, just like I told you.
Kara: Fine. You win. I love you.
Leoben: Say it again.
Kara: I love you.
Leoben: Now the rest.
(Leoben kisses Kara)
Kara: Was that everything you thought it would be?
Leoben: That and more, I'll never forget this moment.
Kara: Neither will I.
(They kiss again. Kara stabs a knife into Leoben's stomach. He dies. Anders comes in)
Kara: I'll explain later, lets move.

(Caprica City - Streets)

Baltar: Are you sure she's in here?
CapSix: Positive, I saw her go in.

(A baby is crying)

(Caprica City - Oracle Tent)

D'Anna: Fraking liar.

(Caprica City - Streets)

(the baby is still crying. Baltar finds her, along with her dead mother - Maya)

HeadSix: It's her Gaius, the first of God's new generation.
Baltar: Hera. Shhhh.
CapSix: It's a miracle. God spared her.
(D'Anna comes out of the tent)
(Hera cries)
Baltar: Shh.
D'Anna: Hera. Can I hold her?
(Baltar gives her Hera)
(Baltar pulls a gun out)
CapSix: No. She won't set off the nuke, not anymore. Comon Gaius, we have to go.

(Caprica City - Colonial One)

Laura: Alright, I'm ready to go.

(Galactica - Hanger deck)

Galen: Alright people, let's go. This way, stand on the starboard hanger deck until we can get you to new ships. Comon people all the way down, all the way down, let's go. (He sees Kara) Oh my Gods, Captain? I thought you were dead?
Kara: Yeah, so did I.
Galen: Really, who is this?
Anders: Yeah I was going to ask that myself.
Kara: This is Kacey.
Kacey's Mom: Kacey? Oh my little girl, mommy missed you so much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! When the Cylons took her, I though, but you saved her. Gods bless you.

Adama: Welcome aboard, welcome. Welcome aboard. (To Lee): I guess you didn't understand my orders.
Lee: Never could read your handwriting.
Tigh: Permission to come aboard, sir.
Adama: Permission granted. You did it, you brought um home Saul.
Tigh: Not all of um.
Adama: I'm sorry.
Crowd (Chanting): Adama! Adama! Adama! Adama! Adama! Adama!

(Tigh walks away, in shock, depressed. Kara is the same way. Adama looks back towards Tigh. Lee and Dee hug. Gaeta stands by a Raptor.)

(Colonial One)

Tory: We're still double checking the fleet's manifests, but it doesn't look like Maya made it off of New Caprica.
Roslin: What about the baby.
(Tory shakes her head no)
Tory: I was there when the two guards left to take them to their ship. I don't know what happened. I'm so sorry, I let you down, I know that.
Roslin: No you didn't. It's not your fault. This is bigger than us. This is life.

(Galactica - Adama's quarters)

(Adama shaves off his moustache. He then walks out onto his ship, which is stocked and vibrant again, and smiles)
